Free Tool · AI Content Fact Checker

Don't let an AI draft publish a fabricated stat.

Paste a URL or text. We pull out every statistic, date, dollar figure, and quote, grade the draft, and flag exactly what to verify before it ships. Runs in your browser. Nothing is stored.

This is a fast, automated screen. It flags what looks risky so a human knows where to dig — it does not verify claims against live sources. See what it does and doesn't do below.

Done-for-you fact check & rewrite

The tool finds the risk. We make it disappear.

Free tells you where to look. Our service does the rest — every claim verified against its original primary source, roundups traced upstream to the real data, stale or fabricated stats swapped for current verified ones, and the copy rewritten clean, with an audit trail for every change.

  • Every claim verified at the original source
  • Citations traced past the SEO roundups
  • Stale stats replaced with current, verified data
  • Copy rewritten clean and ship-ready
  • Full audit trail of every change

Honest about the limits

A smoke detector, not a fire department.

The free checker runs entirely in your browser and never contacts the sources behind your stats. Here's exactly where the line sits.

The free tool does

  • Pulls out every statistic, percentage, dollar figure, date, and quote
  • Grades the draft and risk-scores each claim
  • Flags stats with no cited source — where fabricated numbers hide
  • Catches likely math errors and conflicting figures
  • Spots vague attribution ("studies show") and stale data
  • Hands you a prioritized, copyable list of what to verify

It deliberately does not

  • Verify any number against its original primary source
  • Trace roundup citations upstream to the real data producer
  • Independently corroborate a figure across sources
  • Replace stale or wrong stats with verified current ones
  • Rewrite the sentence so the fix actually reads right
  • Guarantee 100% coverage with an audited claim ledger

Common questions

About the checker.

Does this actually verify my stats are true?

No — and we're upfront about that. It's an automated screen that grades claims by how risky they look. A percentage with no cited source gets flagged high-risk because that's exactly where fabricated numbers live. Confirming whether a flagged number is correct means opening the original source, and that's human work. Our done-for-you service does that part.

Is my content stored anywhere?

No. The analysis runs in your browser. When you check a URL, our server fetches that page's text once to hand back to your browser, and nothing is logged or saved.

Why did it flag a stat I know is correct?

A flag means "a human should look here," not "this is wrong." A correct number with no visible citation still gets flagged, because a reader — and Google — can't tell a real stat from a made-up one without a source. Adding the original source usually clears it.

How is the grade calculated?

It starts at 100 and deducts points for each flagged claim, weighted by risk — high-risk claims (like unsourced stats) cost the most. It's a relative signal of how much verification a draft needs before publishing, not a measure of whether any single fact is true.

What's the paid version?

A done-for-you fact check and rewrite. We verify every claim against its original primary source, trace citations past the SEO roundups to the real data producer, swap stale or unverifiable stats for current verified ones, and hand back clean, ship-ready copy with an audit trail.
