Free Tool · Topical Authority Audit

Which pages are diluting your focus?

Enter your domain. We pull your sitemap, map every page in topical space, and score how tightly your site orbits its core subject. Then we flag the pages drifting away from it: the ones worth pruning, consolidating, or repurposing. Runs in your browser. Nothing is stored.

We read your sitemap and the title, headings and meta of each page. Up to 100 pages, no login.

This is a fast, automated read of where each page sits relative to your site's center of gravity. It does not pull Search Console or backlink data, write the redirect or repurpose plan, or make any changes for you. See what it does and doesn't do below.

Done-for-you topical consolidation

The audit finds the drift. We fix it.

Free shows you which pages pull your site off-topic. Our service does the work: we tighten the pages inside your topical radius, then pivot or kill the ones outside it. We bring in Search Console and backlink data, write the redirect and repurpose plan, and execute the consolidation so your authority concentrates where it counts.

  • Full-site audit, past the 100-page free cap
  • Search Console and backlink data layered in
  • A per-URL keep, redirect, consolidate or repurpose plan
  • Off-topic pages rewritten to a buyer-intent angle or merged
  • The pruning executed, not just recommended

Honest about the limits

A diagnosis, not a consolidation.

The audit runs in your browser and reads only the pages on the domain you give it. Here's where the line sits.

The free tool does

  • Maps up to 100 pages in topical space and finds your center of gravity
  • Scores how tightly the site focuses, using the siteFocusScore idea
  • Flags the pages drifting furthest from your core topic
  • Groups your pages into topic clusters you can see
  • Names the keywords that define your site's focus
  • Gives you a shareable map of the whole picture

It deliberately does not

  • Audit more than 100 pages in one run
  • Pull Search Console clicks, impressions or backlink data
  • Decide the exact redirect target or canonical for each page
  • Write the repurpose angle for an off-topic page
  • Check whether a drifting page earns links worth keeping
  • Make any change to your site

Common questions

About the audit.

What is topical drift, in plain terms?

Topical drift is the spread of pages that sit outside what your site is fundamentally about. The SEO framework here is Hobo Web's siteFocusScore and siteRadius model, from Shaun Anderson: a focused site keeps most pages close to one subject, the "sun." Pages that orbit far out dilute the topical authority search engines and AI answers attach to your domain.

How does the tool decide a page is drifting?

It reads the title, headings, meta and a snippet of each page, places every page in topical space, then finds the center of gravity across your site. Each page gets a distance from that center, its siteRadius. Pages that sit much further out than the rest of your site get flagged. The read is directional, meant to show you where to look, not to make the final call.

Do I need a sitemap or a list of URLs?

Easiest path: enter your domain and we find your sitemap automatically. If your site has no sitemap, switch to the Paste URLs tab and drop in a list, one URL per line on the same domain. Either way the free tool audits up to 100 pages. For a bigger site, we run the full audit for you.

Is my site's content stored anywhere?

No. The mapping and scoring run in your browser. Our server fetches your sitemap and each page once to hand the text back to your browser, and nothing is logged or saved. The topic model also runs locally on your device.

What's the difference between this and a full audit?

This free tool diagnoses drift on up to 100 pages from on-page signals alone. A full audit covers the whole site, brings in Search Console and backlink data to weight each page by traffic and links, and turns the diagnosis into a per-URL plan: keep, redirect, consolidate or repurpose. We also do the work. That's the done-for-you service.

Why does the first run take a moment?

On the first run your browser downloads a small topic model, around 25MB, then caches it. After that, audits are fast. If the model cannot load, the tool falls back to a lighter keyword-based method automatically so you still get a result.
